A trip to Halong Bay was cancelled because of a  lovely typhoon so this is unfortunately all I got to see...







Having a  Vespa in the house meant that we had fun spotting other old Vespas...

David and I had some clothes made and Im sure some hard working people were busy all night in a  room like this...



I loved the children in the street playing hide and seek.  I didn't take a  flash with me so quick moving little bodies and high ISOs still don't quite work...

Some more shots of our trip to Vietnam.  I often have my girls in mind when taking photos.. like the pig and the chickens legs.  They just love it!!!

I was so amazed at the people everywhere.  They would sit and socialise and eat all along the streets.  Very similar to what we saw in Mexico when we lived there.

And of course the scooter and motorbikes over took the place!  Crossing the road was an experience!

been to Vietnam

I have just returned from a  hot and humid holiday to Vietnam with my hubby Dave. He goes  there about 4 times a  year for his work in agriculture so it was great to meet some of the wonderful people he works there with.  The sights, smells, sounds.... so much to take in but hopefully you can get the essence from some pictures!  Before I head to bed I wanted to start sharing some pics of the trip.  There's more to come...

In the coming week look out for some special shots I got to take while there of a friend of Dave's who just got married.  Picture me riding on the back of a motorbike with a  bride in traditional Vietnamese wedding dress, people looking at us (thinking she was crazy... or I was crazy!), rain bucketing down for 5 minutes while we rode on with big coats....... so fun!
