Wedding Album of the Year

Last week the judging was held for the Tasmanian Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) Awards.  It was my first time entering since being a  full member and I entered 4 prints in the Wedding category and an album in the Wedding Album category.  Two of my prints did really well with a silver and  silver with distinction.

My wedding album got a  silver with distinction and won me Tasmanian Wedding Album of the year.  Here it is....

Beautiful beautiful family who I felt so lucky to spend time with.  I met Lisa while buying an umbrella in Hobart and  "some things are meant to be".  We meet people for a  reason!  At the end of my time with them I took Lisa's Dad and brother Hugh to the timber mill which they own and it makes me smile so much to see the photos of these two at the end, so happy and proud of where they are : together.

Allira + Nicholas | wed

I came to this wedding knowing Allira and Nicholas, having met them at Kristy and Chris's wedding a year ago...  it was like I was part of the family.  Allira loves Elvis and she had a life size statue of the man himself watching over us all as Allira got ready!  So funny!

Allira and Nick got together before the ceremony for photos, something I love to do. My husband David brought his Vespa along for some shots which was fun!

Wonderful wonderful day with such happy people. Couldn't ask for more.
